Their client base includes majors in Advanced Engineering, Aerospace, PowerGen, Rotational Equipment OEMs, and Oil & Gas sectors.

• Provide technical support to other company functions, including Production, Quality Control, Business Development, Health & Safety and others.
• Develop pre-treatment processes for various substrate materials, including parts cleaning, etching, metal-plating, pre-treatment solutions analysis and coatings stripping.
• Implement improvements and failure preventative measures for the pre-treatment processes to enhance the production yield.
• Review and update work instructions to capture improvements related to the pre-treatment processes together with compiling and writing technical reports.
• Design of new jigs for the nickel line and stripping.
• Willing to travel to the USA and assist in the setting-up of a new coating facility.

• Experience with metal plating technologies (such as electrolytic and Electroless Nickel or Copper plating) would be a distinct advantage.
• Should possess strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills whilst being able to achieve objectives and deadlines.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in both written and verbal communications
• Experience and skills in Chemical Analysis, use of XRF analytical equipment.
• Familiarity with chemical handling safety requirements, quality control and experiment planning techniques.
• Degree level qualification in Electrochemistry or Chemistry is an essential requirement.
